After a prolonged and spectacular fall from grace, George Calombaris has revealed today how he’ll be bouncing back.

The formerly well regarded Melbourne chef, who has since been kicked off the popular cooking show Masterchef, has decided to open a new restaurant.

This comes after his MAde Establishment was fined $200,000 and ordered to back pay $7.8 million in wages and superannuation.

As a result, Calombaris is opening a new, exciting restaurant that will fire up meals off camp stoves.

“It’s a new, interesting twist, on modern Australian cuisine,” said Calombaris this morning.

“I can’t wait to show it to the people of Melbourne.”

“Obviously it’s a very cost-effective way of cooking too.”

Calombaris said he was working on the new menu and would reveal that over the coming weeks.

“Parté Pie De Curevere and Bacòn Ala Egg are a couple of innovative new dishes we’ll be serving up.”

When we asked whether he would be paying his workers this time around, Calombaris physically threatened The Advocate like he did to that kid at the soccer that time.

More to come.
