A Gold Coast woman with appalling taste in men has decided to just cut to the chase today, by looking up blokes she found on the Queensland daily court list.

Jessica Rose, 28, says that this method was far quicker than swiping on Tinder, citing that she’s now ‘guaranteed’ to get someone with a criminal record.

“I used to just keep swiping until I saw a juiced up, bald headed bloke with a neck tatt”, explains Jessica, “which considering that I live in the Gold Coast, was one out of ten swipes.”

“Still, this new method proves to be a lot quicker.”

Jessica goes on to explain that she’s ideally looking for a bloke who’s been busted for dealing drugs, fraudulent activity, or ‘maybe a little street brawl.’

“I look them up on the court list and then Google their name, so usually if it’s a major drug bust, you’ll find something on the Gold Coast bulletin”, says Jessica, “then I’ll look them up on Facebook to see if they’re hot.”

The Advocate asks Jessica if she’s met anyone special yet, using this rather intensive method of screening.

“Haha well, I don’t want to jinx it, but I have been talking to this absolute cutie, his name’s Casey.”

“He’s an entrepreneur.”

More to come.
