The Health Minister Greg Hunt looked reporters in the eye today and actually told the truth, breaking party lines.
He said the roll-out of the spicy cough jab will be later than expected and cost a lot more than they’d budgeted for.
“That’s just the way we do things in this country. Liberal or Labor. Doesn’t matter which of us is in power,” he spat.
“The jab roll-out will be later and over budget like every other fucking thing we do,”
“From the NBN to education to healthcare to social welfare. Everything will be late and fucking expensive as hell. There’s only one thing though [laughs] than could be a bigger fuck up than this roll out – and that’s an Olympic Games in Brisbane organised and built by a Queensland Labor Government,”
“I’m not saying that we’d do better but Queensland is one more border closure away from the developing world.They are beyond broke. It would be bedlam if they won the games,”
“Back to the jab, though. Chances are, you won’t get it ever if you’re not old and fucked. Well, not until 2024 or something,”
“I mean what did you expect?”
Some reporter from the ABC tried to ask a question but Mr Hunt had already indicated he was done talking.
