One of the nation’s only honest politicians has today spoken out about one of the giant elephants in the room at the 2024 Paris Olympics.

With the first week of the competition coming to a close, Jacqui Lambie has today raised question marks about the performance of our Aussie blokes in the City of Love.

“Frankly, some snow flakes on the internet are going to get offended by this, but we need to ask whether we can justify the economic cost of the boys competing at the Olympics,” said the Tasmanian Senator.

Lambie’s strong comments come after the girls won Australia ANOTHER Gold Medal, taking our total to 8 Gold.

The 8th Gold is the 8th Gold won by our female Olympians, with the boys still unable to get up onto the top of podium.

That lack of action from the boys has lead many to ask whether they justify the economic investment in their sporting endeavours.

“It’s a novel idea to just be pumping money into this stuff, but we as a nation really need to have a frank and honest discussion about whether the numbers stack up,” said Lambie.

“We’ve spent a whole lot of money, and the girls are bringing home all the Gold.”

“There’s now an 800% disparity in the Gender Medal Gap, and it’s just not good enough if you ask me.”

Sooking men’s rights activists on the internet have since tried to make emotional pleas of support for the men’s game, with comments sections set to be heated for quite some time.

More to come.
