Local coastie Lukey Paspaley (31) has today treated his non-coastie mates to a story that incriminates both him and several of his childhood mates.
After moving to Betoota in 2016 to find work as a physio at the Betoota Heights Country Club, Lukey was quick to make a few mates out of the locals by joining the Dolphins RLFC and playing socially.
However, despite some of the undesirable types that hang around the Betoota Leagues, very few locals seem to be on Lukey’s level when he talks about his mates down home.
“Hahah. Yeah was back down home on the weekend” says Lukey.
“Back for my little cousin’s 21st, shoulda see the surf club on Friday night. It was pumping”
The story, which starts off inoccently enough, rapidly turns into an almost disgusting recount of an ultraviolent pub fight, one that landed several people in hospital and saw one of his mates up on several charges for grievous bodily harm.
“Hahah fuck it was good” he says, while explaining how his best mate Kaden threw a full schooner into a group of blokes in the beer garden below the surf club balcony.
“The bloke it hit was all fucked up. But his mates came straight up the stairs for a blue. It was just like the old days”
“hahaha”
