Karsten McDonald, a local Suzuki DRZ400, took to social media this morning to put forward a theory of his now that the price of oil is now negative for the first time in history.
The dirt bike, which has had a number of modifications such as having the baffles taken out of the muffler and aftermarket radiator fans put it, explained that oil producers are now paying oil sellers to take their product because the world demand for it is so low.
They’re having to pay these ‘oil merchants’ as he explained to our reporter and now the savings should be passed onto the consumer.
“Servos are getting paid to take petrol,” said Rocky.
“So servos should pay us to take the petrol. It’s simple economics at play here. I can’t be any clearer,”
“This is what trickle-down economics is actually about. The savings come from the top down, like before The Left have a chance to make sure big businesses are worse off, which makes things for workers tougher,”
“Anyway,” he told The Advocate.
“These are just my thoughts on the matter.”
Our reporter reached out to a local independent service station owner, who said he didn’t have time to comment on dribble this morning because everything is fucked and this coronavirus has fucked his life up.
