Mum of three Julia Granger (54) is relieved to hear her eldest son Andrew (19) who is in Europe this week, for the art.
For completing the herculean task of completing Year 12 with a band 4 average, the Betoota Ponds Granger family decided to treat their son Andrew to a gap year in Europe on the provision he doesn’t play up when visiting the Netherlands’ capital.
According to witness reports, Andrew Granger stated the thought of doing such things in the canal city did not even cross his mind as he was mostly looking forward to visiting Amsterdam’s notable art galleries and the Anne Frank museum if he has time.
“It’s good to know I don’t have to worry about Andrew,” said Granger over her morning Rosé.
“He is an art student so he is going to have the time of his life in the galleries of Amsterdam.”
Speaking exclusively with The Advocate, 19-year-old Andrew Granger shared with us he didn’t even know Amsterdam had galleries until he googled it after lying to his mum about not indulging in the forbidden fruits of the west Europe pleasure hub.
“Yeah I’m definitely going to the art galleries,” stated the future arts degree recipient.
“I just want to get a coffee first!”
Young Granger insisted that while he intended to do everything he promised his mum he wouldn’t, he believes this pales in comparison to the promises he has made his girlfriend Denise Stewart (19).
“Yeah, I told her I wasn’t even going to go out that much and if I did it would be just the boys. That last bit is true. There will definitely be a boys trip to the red light district. It’s not cheating if you pay for it right?”
