A local woman has today been able to bluff her way through some motorcycle chat, by leaning on her experience as being an avid Mario Kart fan as a kid.

As one of the few female coworkers in her male centric workplace, Chelsea Wallace, 34 often finds herself out of place when it came to any kind of sports chat, admitting that she still till this day, does not know the difference between rugby league and rugby union – but she does know that Queensland has the hottest players.

Often unable to contribute much to these conversations, Chelsea was today finally able to jump in with some sort of assumed knowledge when the topic of motorcycle CC’s came up – leading to her finally being able to bond with her broworkers.

“I’m looking to get an adventure bike but I’m struggling to choose between the 500 CC and the 750 CC”, she overheard one coworker lamenting, “I keep changing my mind.”

Circling around in her chair, Chelsea offers her two cents.

“Hmm, I guess 750CC is faster, but a lot heavier and harder to ride, so I guess it depends on how long you’ve been riding for?

“If you’re new to it, it will be much easier to learn off-road skills on a lighter bike.”

“Oh, and waayyy easier to get around those tight corners.”

Assessing his build, and determining he was more of a Yoshi than a Bowser, Chelsea doubles down with her suggestion.

“Yep, you want a lighter bike for sure.”

More to come.
