In a turn of events that have left an Instagram user reeling, local man Gareth Smith (28) was reportedly left dumbfounded by the abysmal performance of his Instagram story featuring a screenshot of an obscure song from his Spotify playlist.
Gareth had apparently stumbled upon the lesser-known track while deep-diving into the depths of Spotify’s algorithmic suggestions. Brimming with excitement at his discovery of a song that had a mysterious looking album cover, Gareth took to Instagram to share his amazingly niche and underground taste in music despite not even getting all the way through the song before deciding to share.
“I really thought it would get at least one story like” Gareth admitted.
“Guess it just went over their heads”.
