A former Queensland policeman that some sources estimate is worth $300m for some reason says voting Yes in the upcoming referendum only plays into the hands of the elites that run this country.
While Prime Minister Anthony Albanese is only worth a pathetic $5m, Opposition leader Peter Dutton has actually had a go in life and used his cunning, guile and wit to become extremely wealthy.
Because he is extremely wealthy, owning a vast array of property and investments all over the country, Peter Dutton is sadly one of the people he’s trying to warn people about.
Mr Dutton told The Advocate that he is not an elite and that being rich doesn’t make you an elite, it makes you sleep better at night knowing you can pretty much do what you want.
“I’m not worth $300m,” he said.
“But I’m not telling you how much I’m worth. I’m a Brisbane private school boy, I know it’s bad taste to talk about money. Which is why I don’t talk about it. Paul’s boys don’t gossip,”
“I’m not an elite. I was a policeman for goodness sake. I was never in on the joke, either. If you know, you know. I’m not a joker. I know lefties like to tar me with the same brush as a lot of Queensland Police identities from the 1980s. [Sir] Joh died in an un-airconditioned 2-bedroom fibro house in Kingaroy. Do you really think he was a crook? Anyway, what I’m talking about here is that rich people from the inner city want you to Vote Yes,”
“We’re talking about rich white boomers and their sanctimonious children that are still on the boob. They’re the elites. The cultural elites. You wouldn’t call someone like Gina Rinehart an elite, would you? No. You’d call someone like Jimmy Barnes one because of their cultural capital and their ability to influence people with their opinions. Normal people don’t care about Twiggy Forrest. He has zero cultural capital. He might be filthy rich but he’s certainly not cool like Taylor Swift. That’s a poor example but you know what I mean,”
More to come.
