A Betoota Heights woman who’s always insisted she ‘grew up rough’ has raised some eyebrows this week, after making a few remarks about the snow season in Thredbo.

Claire Geraldine, 28, has long attested that her family struggled a lot when she was a kid, but has never really elaborated on what that kind of ‘struggling’, that involves – which now her mates now questioning if she’s been downplaying her upper crust lifestyle this entire time.

“It  was a bit odd, she just started talking about how excited she was to go to Thredbo”, says Theo, who befriended Claire roughly one year ago, “was going on about how much fun it’ll be to hit the slopes.”

“I wasn’t even aware that she knew how to ski.”

“Or that it even snowed in Australia.

Remarking that Claire also ‘suspiciously good at tennis”, Theo confides that he thinks she might be lying about her upbringing.

“Yeah, I’m starting to think her family isn’t really lower class.”

Another friend, Alex, reckons she was first suspicious of Claire when she found out about her gap year holiday in Africa, where she reportedly spent ‘the whole summer tutoring kids.”

“I can’t exactly put my finger on it, but that just seems like a rich kid activity to me.”

More to come.
