Rumours of a chauvinistic culture of drunken sleaziness in Parliament House have been dispelled today, by former Deputy Prime Minister Barnaby Joyce.
This follows last night’s episode of ABC’s Four Corners, which lay accusations against Attorney-general Christian Porter and Population Minister Alan Tudge of acting like entitled little rich boys who only didn’t have sex until they were shoehorned into the positions of power they were born for.
However, the New England MP Barnaby Joyce has thrown his support behind the two high-ranking Liberals in the wake of the expose that exposed them for engaging in affairs with subordinate women whose careers were later stunted when they were done with them.
However, the red rooter Barnaby Joyce defending the adulterous hypocrisy that contradicts the conservative values of the Liberal Party’s far-right, might not be what the embattled cabinet ministers are looking for.
The relationships allegedly occurred in 2017, the same time Mr Joyce triggered the government “bonking ban” when it became clear he had been making tender love with his former press secretary Vikki Campion.
The former Nationals leader told Sunrise this morning that relationships with staffers is common in Canberra and that he doesn’t believe they should be seen as a problem, and that some times you just gotta get sum.
The investigation looks to be very much a developing story into the misconduct of Ministers in Parliament House, with the two cabinet ministers named last night only the the scratch on the surface.
The ABC have made it clear their DMs are now open to any other unfortunate women that have found themselves entrapped by a political power imbalance that results in one of these red-wine-teeth conservatives grunting on top of them.
