After a decade of Coles Ambassadorship, Australian TV audiences are beginning to wonder where else they know the Coles guy from.
His obvious knowledge of fresh produce and cooking indicates he might be a chef or something, but the fact that he’s never appeared as a judge on a reality cooking show also indicates that he could famous for something else.
“Where have I seen this bloke before?” says local Betoota resident, Beverley (62).
“I feel like I’ve known him for years, but they don’t even tell us his name”
While it’s quite that the 30-something blonde-haired media personality definitely has some ‘Jamie Oliver’ vibes – he doesn’t have a nickname that would immediately associate him with cooking, like say, ‘The Naked Chef’ or something.
“He’s not from one of those rescue shows is he?” asks another viewer, Kel (33).
“Or was he like on one of the earlier seasons of Big Brother?”
The Coles guy has now spent enough time on TV for his voice to be recognisable in the quick Christmas ads that just show products and their prices, but still, no one has a name to associate him with.
“Oh, I’ve got it. He’s the vet, right?” says North Betoota boilermaker, Bryan.
