The release of Eminem’s much anticipated 12th studio album has failed to create the effect that the 51 year old man had hoped for.

The rapper’s 12th studio album The Death Of Slim Shady, claims to be the final return of Eminem’s edgy alter ego character ‘Slim Shady’ that had Baby Boomers in a moral panic in the late 90s.

The brave rapper made the totally unexpected and not done to death decision to have the album stick it to cancel culture gone too far and the woke mob gone mad.

Many of Eminem’s Gen X and Millennial fans applauded the move, citing that he is exactly what the world needs in a time where you just can’t say anything you want to anymore.

Somewhat surprisingly, the album also took aim at the one generation that barely knows he exists, Gen Z.

Despite many of his super fans claiming that this was the Slim Shady character talking, and not Eminem, many Gen Z’ers online that are only now finding out about the rapper have especially noticed the line.

“You gonna cancel me yeah? Gen Z me bruh?”

The line seems to be a final attempt at provoking the generation in a track where he also dissed deaf people and transgendered folk.

Despite his best efforts, the artist wasn’t able to get anything more than a few tiktok videos of confused kids wondering who this guy is and what he even said that was that bad.

“I’m confused? He sounds like your average politician. Did he say something bad? Why did he call us out? I’m really just confused”, said Theo (24).

It seems the artist that rose to fame in the relatively stable pre-9/11 world doesn’t quite have what it takes to trigger the youth these days.

“I didn’t even go to my last year of highschool and missed out on most of uni to keep old people safe, political violence in the west is the norm to me and wars don’t shock me at all, why would he think I care about him insulting people?” Theo explained.

Despite little to no rage from Gen Z, many Gen Xers and Millennials have taken to tiktok to laugh at the imaginary culture war they have conjured in their minds of Eminem vs an army of triggered Gen Zers.
