Far-right Australian political party One Nation have today revealed that it has put in place new party guidelines to prevent any future hirings of abusive rapists.
This comes as former One Nation adviser Sean Black was sentenced to five years’ jail for raping and assaulting his former wife yesterday.
Earlier this month Black was convicted of raping his former wife Tanya in a bathroom in 2007, pushing her down stairs and injuring her. These charges resulted in yet another dismissal of yet another One Nation staff member with ongoing issues.
Late last year, One Nation was forced to sack one of their most vocal Queensland candidates, after former policeman Mark Ellis had garnered outrage over revelations regarding his role in a child abduction case in the 1990s.
Party leader, Pauline Hanson’s media advisor James Ashby is also pretty suss and has been investigated a number of times for a number of illegal activities.
However, the party has today declared that the days of hiring psychopathic criminals are behind them.
A statement released by the One Nation indicates that the party will do their best to not hire anymore psychopathic rapists in the future, and that they are hopeful that there isn’t anymore working for them.
“Having a senator have to stand down because he was punching people and stealing shit from rental companies was one thing” read the statement.
“But a full blown rapist is a pretty bad look. We don’t think there are anymore people like that working for us, but if there are, we’ll try to sack them”
