A woman who has struggled to find a reliable dungeons and dragons group has finally found an answer to her woes, by using an unconventional method to court some reliable players, it’s reported.

Tabitha Ann Howling, 28, tells The Advocate that not only had she struggled to find a dungeon master who was willing to invest hours and hours of storyline research and planning, but also a small group of people who could commit to a once a week session.

Having tried and failed to start a D&D group multiple times,  Tabitha had been almost ready to give up on her dreams of being a tiefling sorcerer when she stumbled upon a ‘very enthusiastic’ group of players at her local gaming bar, who were more than happy for her to join the hold – but at a price.

“Apparently the easiest way to find a reliable D&D group is to join a polycule”, says Tabitha, with a laugh, “they sure are into their gaming.”

“There’s a direct overlap between polyamory, role playing games, and kink, it seems.”

When asked if she was actually interested in the poly life, Tabitha just shrugs.

“No, but I really want to play D&D.”

More to come.
