A Melbourne dad who is already flogging his sons through two seperate pre-seasons for both school and club Aussie rules squads has today turned his attention to his daughter.

33-year-old Albert Park barely saw regional representative honours in his 20-years-worth of footballing efforts, but that hasn’t stopped him from chasing the dream through his kids.

This comes as the AFL announced record participation of Australian Football across all levels, with more than 1.5 million people playing the game. With females making up 30 per cent of that number after the introduction of the NAB AFL Women’s competition this year.

A total of 1,547,915 participated in 2017/2018, a 10 per cent increase since the introduction of AFLW, giving Albert 10 per cent more chances to at implant the success of his offspring into himself as some sort of a personality.

“Okay warm up is nearly over Victoria!” he shouts at his youngest child and only daughter.

“Focus on the game. This isn’t for fun, this isn’t for fitness. This is about glory.”

“I don’t you missing any match-winning kicks like I did during the ’99 semis!”
