A Queenslander who has since suffered the indignity of moving to a lesser southern state has prepared the dish of her people today for her office’s Harmony Day lucheon.

The predictable-popular Virgo dropped into Coles last night after work and picked up a box of frozen party nibbles – a delicacy in many Queensland households.
Speaking via her public-sector-job-desk-landline this afternoon, Jenny said the Bayside Platter was well received by all.
“I know all the red-faced goons in the office were pleased to see something they recognised,” she said.
“Our office is quite diverse, as I imagine yours is, Errol. We had food from Africa, Asia, Perth and parts of Europe. I’m as full as a butcher’s dog. My belly-button’s at risk of flipping inside out,”
“What did I make? Is that what you said? Party pies, party sausage rolls, some nuggets and those pastie things. Complete with smokey barbeque and generic brand tomato sauces. Can I get a hell yeah?”
Ms Boyce-Renny received a ‘hell yeah’ and then hung the phone up.
