It’s fairly safe to say that Stacey Johnson (48) is has been left down by one of her all-time idols.
The mother of 3 has spent months looking forward to seeing the Queen of Middle Aged Suburban Punk Rock, P!nk.
So when the ‘rockstar’ postponed her show last week citing health reasons, Johnson was reasonably deflated.
However, as she explained to The Advocate she understood that the singer has a pretty full on lifestyle and that life gets the better of you sometimes, something she knows first hand.
Understanding only goes so far though, and when the news broke about P!nk relaxing on a beach in the middle of winter, and the 2 ensuing postponements that followed, Stace was ropeable.
The news has angered fans in the Harbour City, with many questioning the legitimacy of the health claims.
Speaking to The Advocate just moments ago, Stace told us that she has lost a lot of respect for the Get The Party Started and Raise Your Glass singer.
“She’s really stuffed her fans around on this one. I don’t even feel like getting my studded jeans out of the cupboard for the concert anymore,” she said.
“Some of us have lives. The girls and I have had to do so much rearranging with work and training pickups, you’d think as a mother she would understand, but obviously not.”
“So what? She’s not a rockstar [giggles]”
