That’s the sentiment coming out of the nation of Australia and the Olympic Village in Tokyo right now.
This comes after Kaylee Mckeown just took out Gold in the 100m Backstroke in Tokyo.
Following her inspirational won, Kaylee summed up the performance perfectly in the post-match interview with Channel 7 with a solid ‘Fuck Yeah.’
The rest of the nation (apart from a few red-nosed boomers) has since moved to fully support Mckeown’s adrenaline-fueled comments, to confirm, fuck yeah Kaylee!
The 20-year-old from the Sunnie Coast but powered home to touch the wall first in 57.47, a new Olympic Record and just a sliver of her own World Record.
The huge win came after she appeared to be in a bit of trouble on the turn, before turning it on for the 2nd lap.
Kaylee’s win is the third gold medal in three days for the Aussie women in the pool, with plenty more to come by the looks of things.
