Sky News Australia has been free-to-air in the bush since September of 2018 and the damage it’s been doing to some of the nation’s most-forgotten people has only now been discovered.
Broadcasting across the WIN Network, Sky News Australia has time and time again been caught out broadcasting lies and giving people like convicted racist Andrew Bolt a platform to misinform scared people.
Doctors and researchers from South Betoota Polytechnic College have been able to track the physical brain deterioration in many local men and women in the area after Sky began to broadcast.
Published today in the Royal Diamantina Society Of Physician’s Journal, the research paper outlines exactly what this seismic shift in regional journalism has done to people in the bush.
“We’ve seen hundreds of small-town newspapers close their doors in recent years; we don’t think that was a coincidence,” said one of the paper’s authors.
“In Betoota, we’re lucky to have a robust journalism market with nearly all views and opinions covered. However, not everywhere in regional Australia is so lucky,”
“In some places, you just have Sky News, WIN and the ABC. On top of that, the ABC’s regional bureaus have had their funding slashed. That’s the fault of the Federal Government and the toad-throated Glebe cunts who run the show down in Ultimo, Southbank and South Bank refusing to bin their high-paid middle managers instead of saving the jobs of people working on the front lines of journalism around the country. You know, people actually fucking doing something besides taking up space in a fucking lift,”
“I could go on and on but I won’t bore you.”
The Advocate reached out to the father who’s image and brain scans we used but he wasn’t able to get back to The Advocate without calling us names.
More to come.
