A local electric vehicle owner has today revealed to The Advocate how much he loves his new life style.
The Tesla driver who is the butt of jokes inside his broader friendship group and family circle says he actually doesn’t hear the outside noise, and simply loves the perks of owning a state of the art new vehicle.
“Oh bro, it’s super convenient and efficient,” said Nathan Tran, as he sipped on his second bubble tea of the afternoon inside the Betoota Heights Westfield Shopping Centre.
“Like, I only have to come to the shopping centre every couple of weeks and it only takes an hour or so to charge up,” he continued.
When asked why he hadn’t purchased the charger for his home, Tran laughed.
“Mate, I’m a part of the humble renting class.”
“All of the offsets, running costs, and re-sale value long term make it make sense,” he explained.
“But yeah, having to charge at the shops isn’t ideal,” he quietly admitted.
“I’m really getting to know this foodcourt like the back of my hand.”
“But don’t tell any of my mates that.”
“Just tell them it’s heaps cheaper and my car cost literally less than half of what they paid for their luxury utes.”
More to come.
