With the announcement that that particular news story about something that happened in the NRL has been completely resolved, NRL CEO Todd Greenberg says he is so stoked that they can just get on with the game.
“Ahhh. Glad that’s behind us” said Todd Greenberg, during a media conference this morning.
“Haha. I was really busy. Like, I even had to come back from holiday during that week where all of those fucked up videos were being sent to every single group chat in Australia”
After being forced to tragically cut short his holiday to address the problematic headlines and poor behaviour that have been rampant in the game since the end of last season, Greenberg spoke to the captains of all 16 clubs in a conference call a week and a bit ago to make it clear that if they do bad things they will be punished.
However, it is still unclear the line between funny things and bad things, as has always been a grey area in rugby league off-field antics.
One thing that is for certain though, is that particular thing that we mentioned at the start of this article that, happened the other day, has been resolved. And it has sent a message to players.
Greenberg says he’s just relieved to have finally resolved this binfire of chaos, cocaine and sexual energy.
“So glad it’s all done”
“They are back at training next week I think.”
“That’s it for scandals this year I reckon”
When asked why the fuck was happening with the leaked videos last month, Greenberg says he just assumed that issue would sort itself out.
