Controversial American streamer Yousef Erakat, better known as Fousey, has made a cunt of himself in a Sydney hospital over the weekend.
The self-proclaimed “King of Kontent” found himself in Liverpool Hospital, in Sydney’s Tuscany, where he streamed himself on the floor, lamenting what he described as “subpar treatment” following a suspected ‘ruptured’ kidney.
“This hospital sucks as,” Fousey screamed via live stream.
“Honestly, you have a guy crying on the floor, and you just leave him there. What if I die from my kidney exploding? Free healthcare my as!”
He even suggested that a proper American hospital experience would have been better, stating, “I hope I die so I can blame Australia forever and my parents can sue them for every fucking dollar they’re worth.”
Liverpool Hospital was able to treat Mr Fousey once he stopped being such a soft cock.
This statement has drawn attention to the differences between Australian and American healthcare systems. In the U.S., it’s not uncommon for hospitals to charge patients hundreds of thousands of dollars for care that often feels more like theft than actual care.
Many Americans can relate, having faced outrageous bills for emergency treatments that often leave them questioning if the hospital’s primary goal is to save lives or drain wallets. In fact, the biggest health insurer in America is GoFundMe, a platform where friends, family, well-meaning strangers and con artists alike set up fundraisers to cover the medical costs they shouldn’t have to worry about in the first place.
As Mr Fousey lay on the floor, many Australians couldn’t help but think that he was better off just racking up a massive bill instead of relying on the public health system. After all, it’s hard to complain about receiving free care when the alternative could involve a six-figure hospital bill followed by bankruptcy. It’s also the Australian taxpayer who paid for his treatment.
The incident has sparked discussions across social media, with users quipping that maybe Mr Fousey should consider taking a lesson in gratitude from Americans who endure hospital debt nightmares. One witness summed it up perfectly.
“At least you’re not getting charged for the floor space, mate. Count your blessings.”
More to come.
