A local office drone has shown him self to be a rock music purist today by leaving a cheeky comment on Triple Jâs Facebook page.
The bong-warrior sales consultant at a mid-sized firm in Betootaâs CBD took a moment to show his disdain for some of the music coming out over the last few years.
The Frenzal Rhomb fan who claims to have attended one of their first gigs in Rockhampton back in 1997, commented on a recent post by Triple J about American artist Childish Gambino with one word: âWho???â
When our reporters informed Blake Loosemore that Gambino recently had a song at Number 1 on the Billboard Charts, has sold nearly a million records and has had a stack of songs go Certified Platinum, he admitted that he did know the artist, but didnât think he held a patch on Frenzal.
Blake says he wanted to demonstrate his disapproval towards millennials getting such big a chunk of airtime on a station he believes should only be playing mid-90s white-dreadlocked Auscore rock
âI do know who he is, yes. But like I donât know. Why canât the Jâs play some fucking good music every once in a while? Like Frenzal, man. Iâm sick of it,â said the detached rock fan who should just stop wasting everyoneâs time and listen to Double J.
âSo yeah, I just gave Triple J a little piece of my mind, just like a growing number of ageing social media users in this country commenting a pointless âWhoâ on a post.â
After getting 7 likes from other like-minded people, Loosemore said that heâs glad to hear that some other people out there share a decent taste in music and humour, but not too many people otherwise he would have to find something else to get worked up about.
