Joe Biden has dramatically quit the race for president, bowing to pleas from key political allies who are worried he doesn’t have what it takes to win a second time, especially that really cool photo of Donald Trump covered in blood under the American flag.

The one-term President announced that he was ending his effort to seek another term, and has now endorsed his Vice President Kamala Harris.

However, his reason for quitting politics is not at all what people expected from the 81-year-old. It’s not because he’s too old, rather the opposite. Biden says he wants to live his life to the fullest before settling down in suburban life.

This last minute change in the Democrat’s candidate is just the latest shocking development in US politics, in one of the most turbulent weeks in American history since Truman brute-forced Japan into surrender by dropping two nuclear bombs on hundreds of thousands of civillians over the course of several days in August of 1945.

Biden has not cited medical reasons for dropping out of the Presidential race, but the media and pundits are speculating that this decision is directly related to his disastrous debate performance against Trump last month.

This was followed by the failed assassination attempt against Trump less than 8 days ago, which only helped American voters forget how grim life was at the back end of 2020 when their cities were on fire and one million of them were dying from what we now know to be a rather manageable respiratory illness if you live in a country with a basic standard of healthcare.

Even after this unprecedented news, the Democrats are still very much a chance of losing in November. Even as the democratic candidates begin to fall in line and support Kamala Harris for the nomination, she currently has less than 100 days to disrupt Trump’s momentum.

Meanwhile, Joe Biden says he plans on ‘doing the London thing’ like many young upper-middle-class lefties before him.

“Maybe Brightonl” he says.

“I’ll try and get a job pulling beers to begin with, but yeah, hopefully get into some similar work once I’ve found my feet”

“Anyone know of a sub-let going in Islington or like the general East London area?”
