GREAT NEWS FOR EXPORTERS! In some pretty ordinary news for anyone whose livelihood relies on China for imports or exports – the economic superpower next door has “indefinitely” suspended all activity under the China-Australia Strategic Economic Dialogue.
Relations between the two countries have deteriorated since Canberra called for an inquiry into the origins of the COVID-19 pandemic, which came as a desperate attempt by our Reaganist Prime Minister who wanted to impress Donald Trump in the last few months of his Presidency.
Australian Government ministers appear surprised by this diplomatic break-down between our countries, with many of the deadshits in the Federal Cabinet certain that an Asian powerhouse that consists of nine cities with bigger populations than all of New South Wales (Shanghai, Beijing, Chongqing, Tianjin, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Chengdu, Jiangsu, Wuhan) would collapse economically if we stopped buying and selling products with them.
Beijing has accused Australia of having a “Cold War mindset” and practising “ideological discrimination” – likely a result of having a Prime Minister who wants to believe America will also remain as powerful as they were in the action movies he watched in preparation for a life in politics.
In South Africa, Kenya, and Nigeria and the South Pacific, perceptions are gradually shifting towards China. Especially after the Chinese government and Chinese companies spent billions to build infrastructure on the African continent and Oceania – while our populist government demands an end to all foreign aid every time it stops raining on Australian farms.
However, the Federal Cabinet, made up of second-string conveyance lawyers left over after the post-Turnbull-brain-drain, appears confident in their ability strike fear into the hearts of a nation of 1.4 billion people – even as the wine, grain, beef and fashion industries collapse before our eyes.
However, today it appears the world’s economic superpower is not yet rattled by the shots sent their way from a former marketing and tourism executive from Cronulla, who has spent the last six months publicly accusing them of purposely creating this global pandemic.
MORE TO COME.
