In a plot twist that has left both students and faculty baffled, an art teacher who recently caught some of her students smoking weed on school premises has expressed her deep disappointment not in the fact that they’re smoking weed at school, but in their horrible joint rolling skills.

Moya Ashcroft (59), a long-serving art teacher known for her passion for oversized scarfs, love of Disney, and overall creative expression, stumbled upon the illicit gathering of students behind the art block. Instead of reprimanding them for their use of illegal substances on school property, she appeared more concerned with the subpar quality of their hand-rolled joints.

“It was shocking really, I know some of these kids, I thought they were better than this to be honest.” Moya said, recounting on the disappointing incident.

While many of Moya’s colleagues have been giving her the side eye, expecting her to at least pretend to be angry at them for smoking weed at school, many of the faculty’s older staff aren’t surprised in the slightest.

“Me and Moya have worked together for decades, she’s been smoking pot on campus for years, this doesn’t surprise me in the slightest.” said Robert Dox (64), the high school’s woodworks teacher.

The students, initially expecting to be disciplined for their behavior, were left bewildered as Moya launched into an unsolicited lecture on the principles of proper joint rolling and not “canoeing” your joint.

“When we saw her coming we full shat ourselves, I was deadset gonna hit legs aye” said Jayden Towney, one of the students involved in the incident.

“She just put her hands on her hips and sighed, I’ve already been suspended so I was sure I was about to get expelled” Another student said.

“But, nah, she just picked the joint out of our hands and inspected it like it was an assignment or someshit, and then said we sucked at rolling joints”

“What a legend!”
