Canadian in Australia Bradley Johnson (33) has reportedly been casually dropping comments about the cold weather back home as if it were completely normal he experienced winters as cold as -20 degrees.
Bradley, originally from Edmonton Alberta, has been seen by friends nonchalantly mentioning temperatures that would send shivers down the spine of any self-respecting Aussie.
“He really just brushed over the fact it was -20 when telling us about his quirky childhood snow stories.” Said Jenny Lau (32) a friend of Bradley’s.
When pulled up on the fact that his home city gets as cold as the surface of Jupiter, Bradley shrugged.
“You Aussies really are weak to the cold.. -20 really isn’t that bad.” He explained.
“I would rather that than a scorching 25 degrees, I don’t know how you guys do it!”
It’s clear Bradley is finding it hard to settle into a society where winter is as cold as spring in his hometown.
