In some news to take you away from the Arj Barker baby culture war still being flogged on Australian media, a trendy new Melbourne cafe has revealed their quirky point of difference is not only having no real furniture, but also giving their burger celebrity food pun names!

The owner of The Cat’s Gooch, Michael Towley, reckons you’ll be hard pressed to find a cafe like his, because who else would have thought to call their cheddar cheeseburger, the ‘Cate Blancheddar burger.’

“The Cat’s Gooch is a new favourite amongst the locals”, says Michael, having opening up the cafe six weeks ago in laneway in Fitzroy, “I think they appreciate having a new style of cafe to shake up the scene a bit.”

“You see here?”, he says, pointing to a section of crates that look exactly like the average hospo break area you see in the back of a bar, “Milk crates.”

“Instead of chairs.”

“Who thinks of stuff like that!?”

Showing us a menu of extremely fat saturated American food, Towley says he really wanted to for a ‘street urban’ feel.

“The patrons just love all the graffiti style art. Especially the section filled with dead American rappers.”

“Anyway, would you like some locked and loaded fries?”

More to come.
